Homemade Chicken and Dumplings
**Recipe makes 6 servings**

Broth
- 1 clove of garlic, cut up into small diced pieces
- 1/2 an onion, chop up into thin slices
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 1 whole chicken (rotisserie is fine), debone and pull apart into bite size pieces. Make sure chicken is cooked.
- 2 cups of heavy whipping cream
- pepper, to taste
- garlic salt, to taste
- 2 1/4 cups of bone broth
Put all ingredients in a large pot on the stove and cook on low.
Dumplings
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp baking powder
- 4 Tbsp butter, softened
- 1 cup milk
Mix all ingredients together and knead dough until it holds its shape.
Roll dough out flat and cut 1 inch x 1/2 pieces.
Once your pot is at a boil, drop dumplings in and let simmer.
Let the chicken and dumplings simmer with the lid on the pot for at least 25-30 minutes.
Once dumplings are cooked through, serve in a bowl and let cool for a few minutes.
