**Recipe makes 15 biscuits**

Ingredients 

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 Tbsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp baking powder
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 stick of butter
  • 1/2 cup of buttermilk (regular milk is fine)

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl
  2. Take some extra flour and spread out on a flat surface
  3. Take the mixed ingredients and place them on top of the flour and knead until the dough holds its shape
  4. Use a cast iron skillet and coat it with butter
  5. Make 15 balls out of the dough that you have kneaded and place them in the skillet
  6. Heat at 425 degrees, checking periodically until golden brown
  7. Spread butter over each biscuit before serving
